This year the Australian International Motorshow was held in Melbourne as it now alternates each year between Melbourne and Sydney. Luck would have it that Ford decided to bring out updates for most of the models in their range this year, so we decided to take a sneak peek to see what was on display!
The crowd pleaser was certainly the FPV GT ‘Black Edition’ Concept on display, even people who weren’t normally a fan of FPV and Ford in general were impressed with what they saw. While at first glance it may look like an all black FG GT, it includes special extras such as:
- Matte black stripe package
- Brake ducts and large brake package
- Unique GT badges
- One-piece 19″ alloy wheels
- Track suspension package
- Stainless Steel exhaust system
- Black interior finishings
The GT wasn’t the only concept car on display, Ford also had their Mad Max concept car models on show:
Along with their concepts, Ford had a range of their existing cars like Falcon and some of their recently updated models which included the new Territory, Focus and Ranger.
